Things I've learned lately

These are a few things that I have learned lately, although in no particular order and not associated with any real life experience. I retain all plausible deniability.

When a friend gets married, there is a time to get totally trashed and act like a dumbass - that's the bachelor party. At the wedding, you should show respect and keep it under control.

The only way we can stop what is happening in America is civil action like we see in South America right now. If we don't go out by the hundreds of thousands and stop traffic, deliberately seeking to stop commerce; ruling elites don't give a damn how many peaceful protesters are in the streets.

Sometimes firefox just gets into this bug where everytime I key an apostrophe, the find box comes up and I loose my focus. My arrow keys don't work either. hmm.

In cultured parts of America, folks who like to drink take the time to do their preparations before they begin imbibing. Thus, if you are going to a wedding first, then back to the hotel later, one should stock the hotel with beer before one begins getting sloppy at the wedding. At 11 pm on a Saturday night, with a wet brain, is no time to attempt creative solutions for a no booze scenario.

Civilization 4 is just unbelievable addictive and fun. Each civ is so unique, and each strategy for victory so detailed. The game just fucking kicks ass.

A new rug from India can really pull a workroom together.

Comments:
i learned that a rhino will ejaculate nearly every minute for an hour and a half..and then go ten years before he starts thinking about rhino pussy again...

You got to love granny! I have stopped snacking since I have started reading her, and lost 10 kg as a concequense. :)

Aurelius, did you make sure that no child labor was used in making your new rug?

I think there are a lot of things that would fall under the aegis of being "nonviolent" that would be more productive than just standing around and/or waving signs at people.
